Clinical Supervision
Joy is a board approved Texas Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. She is a play therapy leader, dynamic presenter, and published author who has been licensed since 2017 and a RPT since 2020. Her approach to clinical supervision, as well as therapy, is Solution-Focused.
Her encouragement and practicality will be woven from case conceptualization to professional identity exploration, ethics, administration, practicing interventions, and more.
Joy understands that a practitioner’s competence is made up of their clinical knowledge, experience, and skills which develop best in a strong supervisory relationship. With this in mind, she will facilitate sandtray, role play and expressive arts frequently during the supervision process.
